I manually switch the USB cable to this docking station into either laptop or PC. My speakers and bluetooth headphones and webcam are plugged into a Dell 3100 docking station that I got from a friend ( ). I have a keyboard and mouse stand on my desk that I store the one I'm not using currently. My work ergonomic keyboard and mouse dongle is directly in laptop. I have my gaming mouse and keyboard hooked up to PC. I imagine most monitors have multiple inputs? I manually switch monitor input between laptop and PC.
